The exhibition of the archives internationales de musique populaire (AIMP), which are incorporated in the MEG in the years 1940-50 by lethnomusicologue Romanian Constantin Brailoiu (1893-1958).
Has one degree or another, all music is subject to the lair of the time. Each is at once the product of its tradition and expression of its time. This exhibition addresses the great questions of identity and memory in the age of globalisation. The space invites the visitor to simmerger in a sound universe subject to a variety of influences.
The world is changing and, in his image, the music will turn sadaptent the circumstances to respond
to our needs and our expectations.
