Therese Karlen, mother and housewife decides a weekend to leave the traintrain family. She leaves her daughter Melanie, a teen insolent, as well as his son Valentin in the care of her husband, Alois, a man cheerful but overwhelmed by events. Therese started with Liselotte, an older lady, a journey through Switzerland and in its interior.
